Behaviour Support

Our biggest resource for behaviour support is our focus on supporting people to be fully socially included and live life to the full, to have good relationships and to improve health and well-being.

We work with SALT, Behaviour Support teams and psychologists to understand what people’s behaviour is communicating about their needs and how we can support them better. Staff use a range of strategies and techniques to prevent or reduce behaviour that challenges the service, prevent crisis and avoid hospital admissions.

We are currently developing expertise in Positive Behaviour Support and collaborating with Respond on developing a trauma-informed approach to care and support.
