Volunteering
What we want from you
People with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health challenges are amongst some of the most socially isolated people in our society. Three Cs needs volunteers to help people live life to the full and contribute to the community as equal citizens.
We are looking for volunteers who will: support people to take part in events and activities in the local community; befriend people and help them to have full and rewarding lives; mentor people and help realise their potential. No previous experience is needed, just a ‘can do’ attitude, common sense and a desire to make a positive impact upon the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health challenges.
What you get from us
Volunteering at Three Cs offers you the chance to contribute positively to the lives of people with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges, develop new skills, meet new people and have fun! It can also make a good first step towards a career in social care and community based services. Full training will be provided and out-of-pocket expenses paid.
